The city’s most beautiful public garden, the Westfalenpark, offers something for every member of the family. With the National Rosarium, theme gardens, an environmental protection centre, the German Cookbook Museum, a geological garden, cafés and recreation areas, it provides numerous opportunities for a day of diverse activities. The viewing platform of the television tower “Florian”, 140 metres above the centre of the park, affords breathtaking views of the city and its surroundings.

Many different kinds of gardens, a really cool playground and pond with floating half wine barrels for kids, neat events at the park, many garden sculptures. Totally worth a visit.
